In order to deepen the integration of production and education and build a platform for school-enterprise cooperation and education, on May 14, 2025, more than 40 teachers and students from the "Jinwei Class" of Jiangsu Agricultural and Forestry Vocational and Technical College and Jiangsu Jurong Secondary Vocational School visited the Liyang plant of Jinwei Company to carry out enterprise visit and practice activities. Tang Honghao, vice president of Jurong Vocational and Technical College, and Wang Yilei, director of the Department of Jiangsu Agricultural and Forestry Electromechanical College, led the team to participate. Zhou Fei, regional general manager of the Liyang plant of Jinwei Company, warmly received them. Xia Chunsheng, chief technical engineer, and Zhang Qun, director of human resources, accompanied them throughout the whole process, helping students to experience the real production scene of the plastic extrusion equipment manufacturing industry up close and feel its technical charm.

01 Go deep into the production site to decode the industrial production process

As a leading company in the field of plastic extrusion equipment in China, Jwell's intelligent production lines cover multiple fields such as profiles, pipes, plates, films and plastic recycling. Led by Chief Technical Engineer Xia Chunsheng, the students visited the core areas such as profile production lines, pipe production lines, and plate production lines in turn. General Manager Xia combined the structural principles, production processes and actual application scenarios of various types of equipment to give the students a deeper understanding of Jwell's products.
02 Focus on job skills to consolidate professional knowledge foundation

After the visit, electrical designer Zhu Congcong shared his views on the topic of "Application of Basic Electrical Knowledge in Equipment Manufacturing" in the conference room of Workshop No. 11. He combined the production examples of Jwell equipment and deeply analyzed the core role of electrical control systems in equipment operation. Through case analysis, the students deeply realized that what enterprises need is not engineers who simply master drawing design, but practical technical talents who can quickly locate electrical faults at the production site and optimize control programs based on actual needs.
03 Seniors share their experiences and workplace experience to illuminate career direction

After the training session, the event specially invited graduates of the previous "Jinwei Class" and graduates who are currently working in Jinwei Company to come on stage to share their work experience. A senior who is currently doing assembly work in the workshop recalled: "When I first joined the company, the mechanical drawing and tolerance matching knowledge learned in the classroom came in handy here." He suggested that the younger students cherish their time in school, master the basic courses, and cultivate the habit of "reading more, asking more, and doing more." Another senior who works in an after-sales service position shared: "In the face of personalized needs of customers, you must not only understand technology but also learn to communicate and solve problems quickly. These abilities need to be accumulated in practice." The senior's sincere sharing triggered warm applause from the students and gave everyone a clearer understanding of the career development path.
04 Deepen the integration of industry and education and build a new ecology for talent cultivation
This activity is an important practical link in the "Jinwei Class" school-enterprise cooperation training plan, which aims to help students familiarize themselves with the corporate working environment in advance and clarify their career development direction through immersive experience. The "Jinwei Class" jointly built by Jinwei Company and two colleges adopts the training model of "curriculum embedding and practice penetration". This visit allows students to enter the real production scene for the first time and intuitively understand the transformation logic of "theoretical knowledge-job skills-industrial application". The school said that practical activities are an important part of vocational education talent training, and it is expected that both the school and the enterprise will continue to deepen cooperation and cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents that meet the needs of the industry. The school will use the "Jinwei Class" as a carrier to promote the in-depth connection between professional settings and industrial needs, and between course content and professional standards.
After the event, the students said that by visiting the workshop and listening to the technical explanation, they not only understood the company's product system and technical strength, but also had a clear understanding of the future work scenes and job requirements, and will improve their professional skills more targeted in subsequent learning.
As a normalized measure of school-enterprise cooperation, Jinwei Company will continue to open up practical resources such as R&D, production, and management in the future, and build a "learning by doing, learning by doing" production-education integration education model through order classes, corporate mentoring, and joint construction of training bases, so as to reserve more compound talents with both theoretical foundation and practical ability for the plastic equipment manufacturing industry!
